Integrating web analytics and email marketing

Forrester Consulting studied the effects of integrating web analytics data with email marketing applications. They held a survey among 159 email marketers across the UK, France and Germany asking them about their email marketing habits and results. The report concludes that the integration has great advantages, both in terms of customer engagement and revenue generated from email marketing. But gathering and using behavioural data in a useful way is often very difficult, preventing marketers from doing so.
